The International 3 is directed by curator Paulette Terry Brien and artist / curator Laurence Lane. We have over 22 years of experience of working together devising and delivering visual art based projects. Our experience covers all aspects of exhibition and event delivery from fundraising, curatorial selection, commissioning artists, commissioning writers, exhibition / event design, marketing, technical installation as well as the creation and delivery of critical essays, publications, talks and seminars.

Through our role representing artists and taking part in national and international art fairs we have accrued specialist knowledge in relation to the art market and in collector / collection development. This has led to our ongoing role as curatorial coordinator for The Manchester Contemporary; Manchester’s annual contemporary art fair and our invited membership of NADA (New Art Dealers Alliance).

The International 3 is regularly invited to distribute the knowledge and experience we have gathered within formal education and professional development settings and we are regularly contracted to undertake a range of consultancy projects within the public and private sectors.
